There is no human equivalent of God's remarkable love demonstrated supremely in Jesus. But we too can live in the same way as we allow the Holy Spirit to work within us as we decide to forgive. That sets the ball rolling for our healing as the Holy Spirit gives us both the capacity and ability to love those who have hurt us. Eating with sinners is an example of how Jesus loved people when He was on earth e.g the story of Zaccheus' encounter with Jesus. How often do we expect to host people in our lives with

When you say that you know someone what do you mean by this? TIME: you've spent with them, FAMILIARITY: you're familiar with how they might react and respond to situations, INTIMACY:you don't just know about them but you are close to them, PREFERENCES:you know what their opinions are on certain subjects. Overall, knowing someone is not simply knowing with our heads but experientially knowing that person. Do you think we could say the same about our relationship with God? Catherine unpacks this for us in a r

Planning your Visit

What to expect:

The following information is specifically for those planning a visit, so that you know, beforehand, what to expect on a Sunday morning.

Where and When

Sunday Morning Church is held at the local memorial hall (details below) for our weekly gathering. It's the best way to find out who we are and what we do & you'll be very welcome!  Everything starts at 10am.  When you arrive, you'll be greeted by someone in the foyer who will accompany you to the main hall

We serve excellent tea, coffee and delicious nibbles from 10am and this is a great way to meet people, catch up with friends and  simply take time to find your bearings. It's all free!

Plan your journey:

Open Google Maps

Accessibility: There is wheelchair access, and a sound loop . Please let one of the Welcome Team know on your arrival and they will help you to get set up. There are disabled toilets in the main foyer.

Sunday Morning Church

SMC is our weekly gathering and begins at 10am  when the band leads us in worship . We typically have 3 or 4 songs that  last approximately 15-20 minutes. Sometimes a person might pray out loud or read a small passage from the Bible. Sometimes one of the leaders might share things that they believe God is saying to the whole church family. This is all part of our connecting with God.  One of our leaders will then give a talk that is bible-based and that we can apply to our everyday life. We then share news and notices, usually about what’s going on in the life of the church and finish with more drinks and snacks. We share communion most weeks. There is always an opportunity to receive prayer at the end of the service if you would like that.

What about my kids?

We have a great programme lined up for kids of all ages:

  • 0-5s - at the back of the meeting room.  There is a generous carpetted area and a wide selection of toys etc. We ask that all children are accompanied by their parent/carer.
  • 6-14s currently all meet together with age-appropriate fun materials used accordingly.
  • Young people (15+ years) Stay in service.

Children stay with their parent or grown-up at the start of the service for the welcome, songs and notices. We really value worshipping God all together as a family. At the end of the notices someone will announce that it’s time for the younger members to go to their  groups. You will need to go with your children to their groups and register them as part of our child safety policy. Whilst you are dropping your kids off at their groups, we pause to take time to chat to someone sitting near or next to us, giving folk a chance to come back before the talk begins.

The kids group activities vary depending on the age but usually there is a friendly welcome, bible stories, testimonies, praying, music, craft, drama, fun games and free play. Please pick your children up as soon as the service finishes if they haven't already come back into the hall.
